President Trump declared disaster
help for 12 West Virginia counties hit by flooding July 28-29, including Marion
County, where Mannington took a major overwhelming from Buffalo Creek.
The
assistance includes coverage of a large share of the cost of damages to public
infrastructure and private property owners.
Assistance
can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to
cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and
business owners recover from the effects of the disaster.
