daughter, Christine Barrack, is a Monongah High grad living in Shinnston who
attended the 2014 Monongah High Alumni Reunion.
Christine’s
brother, Philip Hinerman, lives in Farmington.

Bertha Olive Hinerman, 90, of
Monongah passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at St. Barbara’s Nursing Home.
She was born August 28, 1926 in Preston County a daughter of the late William Gay and Bertha R. Bolyard Johnson.
Olive is survived by her son, Philip Hinerman of Farmington; her daughter, Christine Barrick of Shinnston; daughter-in-law, Linda Hinerman of Fairmont; her grandchildren, Lori Lynn Posten and her husband Brian of Hutchinson; James William Hinerman of Hutchinson; William Melvin Hinerman and wife Melissa of Fairmont; Autumn Dawn Hideriotis and her husband Mark of Hampstead, NH; Mandi Lynn Morris and husband Andy of Farmington; Justin Dale Hinerman of Farmington; Erik Vaughn Hinerman of Fairmont; Trevor Ryan Hinerman of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Brian Alan Coleman and his wife Ann of Mannington; and Shannah Dawn Fonseca of Monongah; as well as her many great and great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Catherine Field of Monongah.
In addition to her parents, Olive was preceded in death by her husband, William Melvin Hinerman; her sons, James William and Carl Mitchel Hinerman; son-in-law, Thomas Barrick; brothers, William, Dale, David, and Enoch Johnson; as well as her sisters, Evelyn B. Long; Eleanor Cool; and infant sister, Cathleen Johnson.
Olive was a woman of strong faith and attended the Sunrise Chapel in Monongah. She was employed by the Marion County Board of Education and St. Barbara’s Nursing Home.
The family would like to thank the
staff of St. Barbara’s Nursing Home and Amedisys Hospice for their excellent
care during Olive’s illness.
The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St. Shinnston, on Friday from 2-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 26th at 1:00 PM with Pastor John Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
