There's a Linda Duckworth listed as Elton's sister-in-law from Ohio. That may or may not be
Linda Sawyer Duckworth, Class of 1966, who married Steven Duckworth,
Class of 1966. There may be more than
one Linda Duckworth in the mix.

Elton Allen Duckworth
(68) of Worthington, WV, passed away on Monday July 31st 2017 at Ruby Memorial
Hospital in Morgantown, WV, surrounded by his family and friends after a battle
with cancer.
Elton was born September 12th 1948 in Richwood, WV, the son of the
late Elton Eugene Duckworth and Betty Lou Rankin Duckworth McIntyre.
Elton was a Veteran of the Army serving our country during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany. He was a retired coal miner with Consol Energy at Robinson Run. He was as a member of the American Legion Post 31 in Shinnston, WV.

He loved to hunt, fish, spending time with his family, in his garden and at
camp, woodworking and motorcycling.
In addition to his parents Elton was preceded in death by one brother Richard L. Duckworth and two infant brothers Tommy & Robin Duckworth.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Brenda Joyce (Cook) Duckworth, two sons: Tom and wife Shari Duckworth and Cody R. Duckworth and wife Hiliary, one daughter Aimee L. Hines and husband Michael all of Worthington, WV, three grandsons: Chase and Blaine Duckworth both of Worthington, WV and Jesse Clayton of Ames, Iowa, two granddaughters: Kenadie Duckworth of Worthington, WV and Kelly Jo Hamilton and husband Bob of South Carolina, three brothers: Roger Duckworth and wife Sharon of Worthington, WV, Michael Duckworth and wife Marsha of Shinnston, WV, Charles Duckworth and wife Sarah of Lumberport, WV, two sisters: Marsha Riley and husband Jay of Shinnston, WV, Tamela McMurray and husband Bill of Delaware, one sister-in-law Linda Duckworth of OH, five great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV. 26431 on Thursday August 3rd 2017 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm American Legion Post 31 will conduct a service at 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at Dorsey Funeral Home on Friday August 4th 2017 at 11:00am with Charles Chipps presiding. Interment will be at Enterprise I.O.O.F. Cemetery Military honors will be accorded by the US Army.
