A family medical situation brought
Wes Eddy to the Fairmont East High Bees football head coach job.
Eddy is from Wellsburg, a graduate of
Brooke High School.
He left Princeton after two years and
a Class AAA playoff spot after a year of medical issues for a loved one. “Sometimes,
you have to make family decisions,” Eddy said.
Fairmont is closer to his family in Wellsburg
than Princeton, which is hundreds of miles away in southern West Virginia.
Before Princeton, Eddy was Webster
County head coach. Named for Daniel Webster, it’s 120 miles from Princeton.
