Idamay’s Eva Gumont Tulanowski passes away

Idamay’s Eva Gumont Tulanowski, born in Worthington to Frank Gumont and Catherine Laurie Gumont, passed away Friday, August 18.

Her brother, John Gumont, lives in Winchester, Virginia.

Eva V. Tulanowski, 89, of Idamay, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at her residence. She was born April 1, 1928, in Worthington, a daughter of the late Frank Gumont and Catherine Laurie Gumont.


Eva was a homemaker and dedicated her life to taking care of her family.


She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Farmington.


Survivors include her sons: Ronald T. Tulanowski and wife Sandy of Shinnston and Roger A. Tulanowski and Mary of Point Pleasant; 5 grandchildren; Ronald Thomas Tulanowski, Eric Tulanowski and wife Cary, Jarod Tulanowski and wife Rebecca, Melissa Utt and husband Andy, and Trisha Wilson and husband Jerry; 13 great grandchildren,1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; a brother: John Gumont of Winchester, VA, and a family friend and neighbor: Sam Rizzo.

 In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Tulanowski on March 26, 2009.


Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home in Farmingon on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev.
