Medical update on Joe Martin

Report on Joe Martin, Class of 1959, who lives on Treasure Island, Florida, by wife Arlene Kitchin:

“Well, as promised, I am reporting back to everyone after our meeting with the oncologist today. He seems to think it is the less dangerous of the many types of lymphoma. He said it does not seem to have spread throughout his body yet. He is arranging a plan of action for chemo twice a month for several months. 

"I am also going to take him to the Moffett Cancer Center in Tampa for a second opinion.

“The news was not great, but much better than it might have been. So we are thankful and want to thank all our friends and family for their kindness and prayers.”

Joe, who had strokes in March of this year, is a professional protographer and Arlene is an artist. 

He had June lung surgery at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.
