Fairmont General loses power
Fairmont General Hospital lost power for three hours
Tuesday, July 24.
It happened during a check of the hospital’s generator
system.
It lasted from 7:45 to 10:45 p.m.
There were no evacuations, but some patients were
re-located, Fairmont General president/CEO Peggy Coster said.
For-profit Alecto Healthcare Services, based in Long
Beach, California, is purchasing Fairmont General, in bankruptcy, for $15.3
million.
