Larry Salai powers to recovery
Larry Salai, Class of 1973,
who had a bone marrow transplant March 18 to deal with his AML (Acute Meloid
Leukemia), has recovered enough to power-clean the engine on his Mustang. Larry
is from Carolina and lives in Fairmont.
So happily reports M. Regina Humphrey,
also Class of 1973, who calls it “turning the corner.” Regina grew up in Worthington.
Amanda Salai Kropog, North Marion Class of
1997, is Larry’s daughter.
The Salai family is spread through Monongah High history.
