Reva McDougal Ash rehab ‘pleasing’

Reva McDougal Ash, Class of 1950, who lives in Marietta, Ohio, had neck surgery.

Reva’s sister, Helen McDougal Mudry, writes that “Her doctors are very pleased with her progress.”

Helen added:

“Reva would like to extend her thanks & appreciation for everyone's thought & prayers.”

Helen lives on Swisher Hill, which makes her neighbors to Tony Orsini, Class of 1946, and wife Mary Louise Baker Orsini, who started with the Class of 1948.

Helen lives where Reva grew up while going to Monongah High, as did another sister, Edna Mae McDougal, who married James Saunders. Edna passed away in 2011.

 

Their brothers, Earl and Jimmy McDougal, live in North Carolina.

I was in the Class of 1950 with Reva. Our paths crossed when I attended WVU School of Journalism and Reva was a waitress when I popped into her restaurant.
