Where’s Charlie Miller?

Jay Holman, Class of 1971, the most faithful at attending Monongah High Alumni Reunions wants to know the whereabouts of Charlie Miller.

Charlie was on the 1969 Monongah High state football championship team and a star with Kerry Marbury on the Lions’ state track team.

Other active 1971 graduates include Susan Ahouse Schrader, who stirs up the dust at her Stoney Lonesome and Piscataway, New Jersey homes, and Doris Carpenter Rogers, who lives in Charleston with husband Scott Rogers.

Sue’s sister, Mary “Kitty” Ahouse Morrison, lives on Lyndon Avenue in Monongah.

Doris is a daughter of Iris Martin Carpenter, Class of 1950.

Ed Graffius, Class of 1971, lives in Fairmont with wife Brenda Ridenour Graffius, Class of 1974, a Licensed Practical Nurse. They live in Pleasant Valley.

Parma Kay Fetty, Class of 1971, never met a fish she didn’t like to hook or a boat she didn’t live to zoom on the river in.

Rick Yanero, Class of 1971, of Dover, Delaware, once owner of Rick's Bellview Lounge in Fairmont, is married to Harriet Yanero.

Rick’s siblings are Gary Yanero, Dorothy “Dot” Yanero Evans, who lives in Monongah, and Paul Yanero.

Also on the Monongah High birthdays list from the Class of 1971 are David Gowers, Brenda Urban, Christopher Yanero and Rebecca Urish Anderson, who lives in Clarksburg, works at Food Lion market.

Anyway, if you know what happened to Charlie Miller, if he’s alive, where he lives know, get on the Monongah High Facebook page and let Jay Holman know.

And email John Olesky at jo4wvu@neo.rr.com so that I can add the information on Charlie to this blog article.

Thank you.
