Clarifying the Nichols relationships

There are too many Bob Nichols in my brain to get it straight.

Bob Nichols, son of Ira "Si " Nichols and Julia Romano Nichols, explains it:

I was just going thru the MHS blog and do have a few corrections. Concerning the Nichols family, Bob the barber was a cousin and not our dad.

My brother Gary is married to the former Shirley Hall of Fairmont and lives in the Pricketts Fort area of Fairmont.

I am married to the former Becky Hall, also a Fairmont girl. We have been wintering in Florida for the past nine years but we're unable to go this year due to family health reasons.

Our dad was Ira "Si " Nichols and our mother was Julia Romano Nichols. Our grandparents were Jocie  and Ira Nichols, who lived on McCue Ave across the street from Bob "the barber" Nichols.

If we are able to make it to Florida next winter it would be great to try and hook up with some MHS people.

I want to thank you for all you do with the MHS blog. It is nice to see what is happening to some of our old friends.
