I got this sad news from my sister,
Jackie Olesky Straight, Class of 1950, who lives in Rivesville:
“John,
“Dave's
sister and my sister-in-law, Nancy Straight Yost, passed away Jan. 7,
2016. She died in her sleep and was 82. Her funeral will be
Monday.
“Sister-in-law
Nancy, Jennie and husband Lee and Nancy's sister-in-law Susie were at my house
Dec. 29, 2015 for dinner and conversation. We laughed, talked about old
times and really enjoyed ourselves. Little did we know that she would be
gone the next week!
“So sad that
life just goes by and plucks us out one by one before we realize it is happening.
“Belinda is
on a cruise so won't be here for the funeral but Dave is taking me, Renee and
Lea Ann to the funeral home Sunday.
“We will be
going to the basketball game at 1 p.m., so goo, Mountaineers!
“Love,
Jackie”
