Lloyd Schell’s nephew’s wife dies

Elizabeth Schell, married to Bill Schell, nephew by adoption of Lloyd Schell, passed away Saturay, January 23.

Lloyd, Class of 1957, who lives in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Elizabeth Marie “Liz” Schell, 66, of Shaws Run, Worthington, died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Fairmont Regional Medical Center. She was born February 18, 1949 in Fairmont, a daughter of the late Cecil Carl and Elizabeth Ellen Stewart Cross.

Liz was a homemaker who loved and was devoted to her family. She was an avid fan of Elvis Presley’s music.

Survivors include her husband and companion, William “Bill” Schell; a daughter: Elizabeth (Andy Riley) Weekly, Four States; a son: Thomas “Jake” (Sharon Barker) Whitecotton, Worthington; a “son”: Roger Weekly, Worthington; 8 grandchildren: Jamie, Christopher, and Andrew Weekly,Little Jake and Alyssa Whitecotton,Destiny Jones, and Jessica and Captain Weekly; 8 great grandchildren: Riley and Little Captain Weekly, Talon McKinney, Jace, Jeremiah, Jordan Whitecotton, Remington Hamrick,and Brooke Eagle; a sister: Linda Stewart, Worthington; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother: Delmus Stewart.
Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home in Farmington on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Chad Hutson officiating.
