Bill Wilson in Texas, may retire at 77

Bill Wilson, Class of 1955, who lives in Montgomery, Texas, a Houston suburb, finally is thinking about retiring at the age of 77. He has health considerations.

Bill owns a pump company involved in oil and gas wells.

If you’d like to wish Bill well, on his possible retirement and over his health situation, his address is:

Bill Wilson

1664 McCaleb Road

Montgomery, TX  77316

Bill’s sister is Betty Lynn Wilson Feltz, widow of Monongah High super coach Jim Feltz, who guided the Lions to 1952 and 1955 state football titles. Jim coached the first state title and his son, Jay Feltz, quarterbacked the last of the five state football championship teams, in 1973.

Betty lives in Fairmont with her son, Jon Pat Feltz, who has been teaching 5th grade at Monongah Elementary, in the building where his parents met, for 30 years.

Jay moved to Amelia Island, Florida with wife Beth, a nurse. Beth was a cheerleader for the University of South Carolina when Jay set the punting record that still stands. Jay’s adult children, Jason and Jody, both passed away at young ages.

Jaimie Jo Feltz Riley, only 50, Betty and Jim’s daughter, passed away last year after a long battle with MS. Jaimie’s sons are Jayce Riley and Andrew Sestito of Fairmont. Jayce was on Fairmont West’s state tournament baseball team.

When my Mom died, Betty checked in regularly on my father, John W. Olesky, Sr., and notified my sister, Jackie, Class of 1955, who lives in Rivesville, if anything seemed awry. Betty had a key to the Olesky house so she could check if she didn't see Dad puttering around the yard for too many days.

Jackie and her late husband, Dave Straight, would babysit Jay while Betty and Jim went out for the evening.

The Olesky and Feltz family lives have been entwined for 60 years.

Jayce Riley is best friends with Adam Morris, Jackie and Dave’s grandson whose mom is Belinda Straight Morris, Jackie and Dave’s daughter.
