New Pacemaker for Helen Hess

Helen Hess -- mother of Mike Hess, Class of 1975, Robert Hess; Pam Hess of Helen’s Run; and Linda Renay Hess Postlethwait, Class of 1968 – will have surgery Friday, February 3 to install another Pacemaker.

Infection problems involving the previous Pacemaker led to a long hospital stay.

Mike explains:

“Mom will have the surgery to install the permanent pacemaker. This has been long time coming.

“Praying all goes well. My poor mom has been through enough. She still has a lot ahead of her to get her strength back so she can walk again.”

Mike lives with Parma Kay Fetty, Class of 1973, an accountant who runs PKS Taxes next to the Dairy Kone at Camden Avenue and Pike Street in Monongah. Mike’s daughters are Amy Marie Bell and Helen Hess.

Linda is married to Charles Gregory Postlethwait, Class of 1964. They live in Durham, North Carolina.
