Eddy Ray Anderson, 78, of Franklin, WV passed away Friday, February 17, 2017. He was born October 4, 1938 in Mill Fall, WV, son of the late Delbert and Edna (Withers) Anderson.


He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a former employee of Interstate Engineers. He was also a State Road employee and a Security Guard. Eddy was a member of the Franklin Moose Lodge. He enjoyed playing bocce ball, horseshoes, hunting and fishing, and was an avid WVU football and basketball fan.

He is survived by two children, Roger Anderson and fiancé Lisa of Franklin, WV, Marlene Simmons and husband Avery of Franklin, WV; a brother, Carroll “Skip” Anderson of Bruceton Mills, WV; two grandchildren, Chase Simmons and Kenze Simmons.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. in Fairmont from noon to 2 p.m. Monday with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Steve Teter officiating. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com .
