The mother of Laurann Vance Allen, Class of 1971, is
being discharged from home health care.
Jay Holman, Jr., keeper of the flame for the Class of
1971, relayed this message:
“Amazing recovery, thank you for all for your many
prayers. She is back to her old self. God is Great!”
Previous reports were that Laurann's mom was “Not doing well. Can't eat very much. Losing
weight.”
Laurann is retired from WVU Children’s Hospital in Morgantown.
She lives in Enterprise with husband Garry Allen. They have 2 children and
adopted their 2 grandchildren.
Her sister, Nicole Knox Vance, lives in Fairmont.
Stanley Vance is
Class of 1964. Sue Vance Latham is Class of 1975. Howard Vance, who lives in
Worthington, is a 1985 North Marion High grad.
