The Wal-Mart Store in Kimball is the
only West Virginia store listed among 154 that the company says will be closed,
impacting 10,000 employees.
Kimball is in McDowell County, near
Welch.
Nearly all the stores are within 10
miles of another Wal-Mart.
102 Walmart Express stores, 23 Neighborhood
Market stores, 12 Supercenters, four Sam’s Clubs, six discount stores and seven
stores in Puerto Rico will go dark.
