Church bake, kung fu & 5K run/walk

Monongah Town Recorder Patty Steele McCombs does a great job of keeping everyone informed on the Monongah Town News Facebook page.

Patty is Monongahfest vice president and married to Bill McCombs, Class of 1969, once Monongah Water Director and on the Town Council and who had to choose between being mayor or water director when he won the mayoral race on a tie-breaker because the state said he couldn’t be both.

Patty’s latest posts are about a hot dog, bake sale and yard sale at Trinity Independent Church in Monongah, a kung fu class in the PACE (Program Advancing Community Employment)  Building Room (old fire department) on Main Street and the Monongahfest 5K run/walk.
