They don’t rob banks, not even piggybanks, but Worthington has its own James gang.

That would be James Caroll McDaniel, Class of 1960, who lives in Behobothbeach, Delaware; his son, James Dwight McDaniel; his grandson and J.D.’s son, James Edward McDaniel; his great-grandson and J.E’s son, James Michael McDaniel; and, in the photo J.C. is holding, his father, James Bruce McDaniel.

There’s another great-grandson, Thomas Ami Fleming, that J.C. hopes to see in October, and a great-granddaughter, Anna Lise McDaniel, 4.

James Dwight’s McDaniel’s mother is the late Shirley Eakles McDaniel. James Caroll McDaniel’s current wife is Mary Faust McDaniel, who grew up in Monongah.

James Caroll McDaniel’s mother was Mary Currey McDaniel. His grandparents are long-ago Monongah stationmaster Ted McDaniel and Adrian Curry McDaniel, Class of 1923.

Air Force retiree Jim’s siblings are Jo Ann McDaniel Huff, Class of 1949; Mary Jane McDaniel Pritchard; and Donald McDaniel.
