“We need your prayers for my wife, Janis, who fell Thursday morning and broke her humerus in her left arm. She also severely sprained her wrist, deep bruised her elbow, and her hip.
“We saw the orthopedic on Friday and he ordered a MRI that was done on Saturday. Concern is that her rotator cuff is torn and surgery is needed. Prayers that this painful and long recovery time surgery is not necessary. In Jesus' name.

“I would also like to thank the staff of the emergency room at Marlette Regional Hospital for their caring and quick care of Janis. I have always had the best service at this hospital and only 8 miles from home.”

Janis has undergone several heart-stint surgeries in Michigan.

John had both knees replaced in 2015.

John Rudy is an Eastern Michigan University graduate and retired general manager/vice president of Orchard Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram at Washington, Michigan.

Son Joe Riggs lives in Shelby Charter Township, Michigan and once lived 17 miles away in Roseville, Michigan. Daughter Lisa Riggs lives in Lum, Michigan, which is 50 miles north of Roseville.

John Rudy’s brother, W. Scott Riggs, 45, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away in 1991. Like John Rudy, Scott attended Monongah High. Their parents were Walter Scott Riggs, Jr. and Helen Tropea Riggs Bieglecki.
