Asher Ramsey, son of North Marion High graduate Amber Efaw and Air Force veteran Randy Ramsey, passed away after an accident.

Amber is an alternate with Susan Staron Sanders’ Charge of the Lights Brigad Monongah Christmas Lights committee.

Randy did two tours in  Iraq and Afaganistan with the Air Force.

Monongah residents were outraged in 2016 when Randy was fired by Circle K when he was robbed as a clerk there in the wee hours of the morning because he had $20 more than the corporation allowed on hand at the time.

Amber was 8 months pregnant with Asher at the time.

Amber also has a 12-year-old son who lives in New Jersey.

Randy's mother, Christine Yost, is a North Marion grad who works at St. Barbara’s Nursing Home.
