Paula & Joe Fazio’s son heading for Boys State

Sean Fazio, son of Paula Kerns Fazio, Class of 1979, and Joe Fazio, Class of 1974,  has been chosen to participate in June 7-13 at Mountaineer Boys State, representing North Marion High school.

The events take place at Jackson's Mill in Weston, where long-ago WVU football teams had their spring practices. Mountaineer Boys State  started in 1936, making it the second oldest Boys State in the country.

Paula writes:

“So proud of you, Sean!”

Indeed.

Boys State and Girls State give high schoolers a taste of how government works.

Meanwhile, Sean and his North Marion classmates are touring the Pentagon in Washington and, Paula writes, “having a great time!”

Paula’s brothers are Dave and Donnie Kerns and her sisters are Pam and Patti. Their daughter is Alex, married to Joe Huff and the parents of Charlotte.
