$10 million a year till he’s 78 for
Brother!
Nick Saban will be making $10 million
a year with his new University of Alabama contract that will run through the
2028 season.
Not bad, Brother. And you’ll be 70 in
October. Better than Social Security, huh?
No wonder!
Brother, quarterback of the 1968 Monongah
High state championship team, has won SEVEN national titles, more than any man
in history, including 6 at Alabama, and HALF of the last 6 national titles won
in America!
Brother learned from Papa Saban, who
bought a beat-up school bus and transported his football and baseball players
around Marion County, even purchasing gloves and other equipment for those who
couldn’t afford it. Nick Saban, Sr. athletic field gets a hefty annual
maintenance fee from Brother to keep it looking respectable.
Best of all, Brother has NOT
forgotten his roots. He helps people from Marion County repeatedly, without
fanfare.
The latest contract extends Brother’s
deal with the Crimson Tide to 8 more years. He’ll be close to 78 by that time!
And it would be his 23rd season if he’s still doing it to the end of
his contract.
Brother did the unthinkable: He made
Paul “Bear” Bryant the 2nd-best coach in Alabama history!
He has the most victories against Top
5, Top 10, Top 20 and Top 25 teams than any other coach in college football
history!
WVU missed the boat by not grabbing
Brother long ago before he became the most precious coaching commodity in
college football.
