CATHERINE ELIZABETH FIELD PASSES AWAY

Catherine Elizabeth Field, who spent much of her life helping the ill and the infirm at St. Barbara’s Memorial Nursing Home near Monongah and John Manchin Hospital, passed away Saturday, June 26.

Her daughter, 1984 North Marion graduate Teena Field Ailstock, part of Councilman Susan Sanders’ Christmas Street Lights committee, posted:

My mom has passed on to glory. I know that she is with Myles and my sister Patty, her mom and grandma . . .  I know that she is enjoying her forever with those who have gone before. We are broken-hearted but I know the angels are rejoicing.”

Teena lives in Monongah with husband David Ailstock.
