COME VISIT THE 15 X 20 FOOT WVU WALL-HANGING ON JULY 17

WVU wall-hanging ready for Monongah Town Hall on July 17

Here’s the WVU wall-hanging ready to be displayed in Monongah Town Hall for the J&J&Lions Get-Together at 6-9 p.m. Saturday, July 17.

My sister, Jackie Olesky Straight, Class of 1955, and me, John Olesky, Class of 1950, will be hosting the event for family, friends, Monongah High Alumni and residents of Monongah who are not MHS graduates.

There also will be a large, framed 2 x 3 foot poster of the Monongah Lion on display.

And food provided by Say-Boy.

And decorations in red and black, Monongah High’s colors, by Monongah Councilwoman Susan Staron Sanders, Class of 1971, the Angel of Thomas Street, and Monongah Christmas Lights Committee’s Shelly Yankie, a 2002 North Marion grad.

And music for listening or dancing.

If you want to be part of it you have TEN DAYS to get your Reservation to John Olesky.

Print the Reservation form in the article below this one, enlarge it to 8 x 10, fill it out and mail it in.

It will be a fun time! Don’t miss out!
