Greg Patrick, Class of
1970, Fairmont Catholic High teacher and leader of Monongah’s Jenna Won’t Sing
Band, is visiting friends Kostya and Lara in the Ukraine again. Hopefully, this
trip will not involve medical problems as it did last year.

Ukraine is bordered by Russia, Belarus, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania,
Moldova, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
Greg is
a social studies teacher at Fairmont Catholic following his “retirement” after
37 years at Miller Junior High and West Fairmont Middle School.
Greg runs the Monongahfest Car Show every year and is in love
with muscle cars.
After a childhood in Monongah, Greg graduated from Fairmont
State with a degree in education and got a master’s
degree at West Virginia University.
In 2000, Greg returned to Monongah to care for his ailing father and has lived in his birthplace town ever since.

Jim Pulice, Eric Pulice and Ron Yanero, still working on his
health recovery, are Greg’s bandmates with Jenna Won’t Sing.
