Frank’s obituary:
Frank M. Tiano, 91, of Fairmont passed away Monday
morning December 5, 2016 at the Tygart Center. He was born in Chiefton on March
16, 1925 son of the late Anthony and Rose Iaquinto Tiano.
Frank retired from Schwerman Trucking as a truck
driver. He was veteran and served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid Mountaineer
fan and especially a devoted East Fairmont High School football fan. He
enjoyed the East-West Rivalry every year. He was a member of the Knights of
Columbus, American Legion and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Frank was a kind, caring and devoted family man. He
had a great sense of humor, a wonderful smile, and loved to make people laugh.
He loved to tell stories about growing up during the Depression. He always
spoke about how he sold newspapers when he was young in front of Hartley’s
Department Store, and swimming in the Monongahela River. He was a wonderful
husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed.
Frank is survived by his wife of almost 69 years
Beulah Riley Tiano of Fairmont, and his daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Mark
Secure of Fairmont. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jenny and Anthony
Secure of Fairmont, who were one of the greatest joys of his life. He is also
survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death
