Zachary Peaslee, son of Kathy Boggess Peaslee, Class of 1975, and grandson of Evelyn Kasper Boggess, Class of 1953, will begin his third year in the WVU Pride of West Virginia Marching Mountaineer Band when Missouri opens the football season against WVU in Mountaineer Field on Saturday, Sept. 3.

Posts a proud Kathy:
Congratulations to my son, Zachary, for starting his third year in the WVU Marching Band. Let's Go Mountaineers!”
Zachary and broher Matthew Peaslee live in Youngstown as do their parents, Kathy and Rick.
Evelyn and retired coal miner Otis Boggess also are the parents of John Boggess, who owns the building that once housed the P.P. Shenasky Grocery on U.S. 19 adjacent to where Thoburn School once stood.

Evelyn’s siblings are Bob Kasper, Class of 1950, who has homes in South Lyon and Presque Isle (Grand Lake), Michigan, and the late Helen Kasper.
