Kacie Cunningham’s stepmother passes away

Constance Fisher Humphrey, stepmother of Kacie Cunningham, who with her husband Dan Cunningham helps Amelia Shenasky Zentz at Amelia’s Shenasky Lane home and grounds, passed away Sunday, September 18.

Kacie attended both East Fairmont High and Fairmont Christian Academy and lives in Monongah.

Connie’s husband is 1979 Barrackville High graduate Schuyler Humphrey.

Constance Rae Humphrey, 53, of Fairmont, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at home on Sunday, September 18, 2016.


Connie was born on November 30, 1962, in Clarksburg to Janice Hamrick Fisher and the late David Thomas Fisher. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and godmother. Connie, a member of Faith Church International, enjoyed yard sales, crafts, gardening, and decorating her home. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and many friends.


Connie is survived by her loving husband, Schuyler Humphrey; daughter, Desiree Ware, of Fairmont; stepson, Schuyler Humphrey and wife Alyssa, of Fairmont; stepdaughters, Kacie Cunningham and husband Dan, of Monongah, Stacie Morgan and husband Jason, of Hundred, Heather Cunningham and husband Steven, of Fairmont; sister, Tracie Volek of Fairmont; grandchildren, Brian Ray Ware of Fairmont; niece, Nicole Volek; and many step-grandchildren.


In addition to her father, Constance was also preceded in death by her sister, Robin Fisher; and nephew, Chance Volek.

 
Family and friends may call at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home 209 Merchant St. Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The funeral service will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at the funeral home with Dr. John Polis officiating. Following her wishes, Connie will be cremated following services.
