Christopher Lee Birdsell, nephew of Monongah Fire Department Captain Jim
Birdsell and wife Angela Birdsell, passed away Sunday, September 4 in Fairmont.
He was only 38 years old.
Christopher’s grandparents included
the late Edwin Birdsell, Sr., father of Edwin, Jr., Class of 1973.

Christopher “Kissafer” Lee Birdsell, 38, of
Fairmont passed away Sunday, September 04, 2016 at his home. Christopher
was born March 31, 1978 in Fairmont, son of Edwin Eugene “Gene” Birdsell of
Fairview and Bonnie Boord Summers of Fairmont.
Christopher enjoyed to cook and was an avid gamer.
He worked as a Night Auditor at the Bridgeport Microtel, and was formerly a
cook for Heston Farms.
In addition to his parents, Christopher is
survived by his wife, Sabrina Williams Birdsell of Fairmont; five children,
Jasmine Birdsell of Grafton, Jade Birdsell of Grafton, Mason Birdsell of
Fairmont, Kasi Lott of Fairmont, and Conner Lott of Fairmont; an aunt, Mary
“Tootsie” Birdsell of Fairmont; three uncles, John “Spanky” Birdsell and wife
Barbara of Barrackville, Charles David Birdsell and wife Kay of Fairmont, and
Byron James Birdsell and wife Angela of Pleasant Valley; a great uncle, Byron
Birdsell and wife Carol of Fairmont; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Boord of
Fairview; his in-laws, Greg and Mary Stockinger of Clarksburg; and his step mother,
Dawn Birdsell of Iowa.
Christopher is preceded in death by his
paternal grandparents, Edwin Sr. Birdsell and Mary Goolsby; and his maternal
grandfather, John Boord.
The family will receive friends at Domico
Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. Fairmont, on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. The funeral service
will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Online Condolences
