Keith Beckner’s obituary

Dorman Keith Beckner
(October 21, 1922 - April 13, 2016)

Dorman Keith Beckner, 93, of White Hall passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Tygart Center in Fairmont.  He was born, October 21, 1922, in Monongah son of the late David and Lula (Stanley) Beckner.

Keith was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, where he worked in the clerical department.  He was a very active member of the Monongah Baptist Church where he served as the Deacon Emeritus.  Keith served in the United States Air Force as a fighter pilot for 13 years.  He was also an advanced class amateur radio operator. 

Keith is survived by two children, Roger Beckner and wife Janis of Fairmont and Rhea Hillberry and husband Gary of Littleton, Colorado; four grandchildren, Stacy Knotts and husband Dennis, Carrie Donatelli and husband Pete, Craig Hillberry and wife Stephanie, and Bret Hillberry and wife Kai; and three great grandchildren, Alexis Brotosky, Elaina Donatelli, and Avery Hillberry.

In addition to his parents, Keith is preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Beckner.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. Fairmont, Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Funeral Home with Pastor David S. Huckins officiating.  Interment will follow at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers the family request donations are made to Amedisys Hospice Care, 67 Casino Dr. Suite 102 Anmoore, WV 26323.  Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.domicofh.com
