51st wedding anniversary for Connie and Danny Abruzzino
Connie Martin Abruzzino, Class of
1962, and Danny Abruzzino observed their 51st wedding anniversary
today.
Former Monongah High cheerleader Connie is from Carolina but lives in
Fairmont. She is the former Owner-Operator at Hair
Perfection By Connie.
Connie
wrote:
“Happy 51st to my dear, sweet and caring husband and
myself ... this is so hard for me to write .... it has been a trying year but
we are strong and we will get through it I pray..
“Thank you everyone for the messages and cards. We had a
very nice weekend being in Hedgesville and watching our grandson play baseball.
Just being with Christopher and Gianna for the weekend has made our life a
little easier.

It was a very trying year for Connie and Danny. Their
son, Rob Abruzzino, passed away January 29, 2016.
Rob was a supervisor at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races
and lived in Hedgesville.
Professional photographer Joe Martin, Class of 1959, is her brother. Joe lives on Treasure Island, Florida with his Canada-born artist wife Arlene Kitchin Martin.
