Danny
Harbert, Class of 1975, who has endured kidney stones and jaw and kidney surgery,
writes about his latest catherization:
“All went well. No blockages. Putting me on a different
medication. Thanks for all the love and prayers. You don't know what it means to

Danny is a son of Bill Harbert, whose parents were Griff and Agnes Wood Harbert.
Danny lives in Grafton. His girlfriend is Karen
McGill-Wooddell from Belgium, West Virginia.
Danny makes dreamcatchers. I bought a few when
I was in New Mexico where the Navajo have an extensive reservation.
The children of Paul Harbert, Sr. are Paul, Jr., Gerald, Bill,
Eva, Ted, Farrell and Phil. Eva was in the class of
1951.
Bill’s
nephew, Duane Harbert, Class of 1951, lives in Marlton, New Jersey, with wife
Mary.
Their
son, Tom, is deceased. Duane and Mary’s other sons are Jim of Taylor,
Pennsylvania and David of Stratford, New Jersey.
Duane’s
brother, John Harbert, and
John's wife, Karen Colvin Harbert, both class of 1955, are deceased. Karen and John’s
children are Larry Harbert and wife Barb, Marshall Harbert and wife
Beverly, Deborah Harbert Napier and Paul Napier and Peggy and Chip
Harbert.
Duane’s mother, Goldie, taught at Worthington Grade School.
Goldie’s husband, Frank Harbert, was principal of Thoburn Elementary in
Monongah.
This Harbert family once lived next door to the McDaniel family on
Water Street in Worthington.
Jimmy
Harbert is a North Marion graduate who lives in Idamay with his wife, Crystal
Stanley Harbert.
Kathy
Harbert Colson lives in Edgewater, Maryland and is from Fairmont.
Joseph
Harbert is a Fairmont State graduate from Idamay employed by Maryland’s Cecil
County public schools who lives in North East, Maryland with wife Lindsey
Crothers Harbert.
Minnie
Hinerman Harbert, Class of 1957, who previously lived in Monongah, married Farmington
High and Fairmont State graduate David Harbert. Dave’s father was Sam Harbert,
brother of former Thoburn Elementary principal Frank Harbert.
If Kermit the frog thinks it’s not easy being green, he
should try keeping track of the many branches of the Harbert family tree. Whew!
