90,000 homes lose electricity

More than 90,000 homes and businesses in southern West Virginia still don’t have electricity a day after severe thunderstorms whacked the state.

Fayette (Beckley), Logan and Webster counties were hard hit.

In Tyler County, Middle Island Creek hit its highest crest in 20 years.

Monongah didn't go unscathed.

North Marion grad Shawn Parker, married to Colleen Parker, had a huge tree fall near, but fortunately not on, his truck, her car and their garage.

Shawn works with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.
