Whitehall to help light up Monongah for Christmas

Monongah High grad Susan Sanders is proof that one person can light up a room . . . or a town.

She went to the Monongah Town Council to talk about getting Christmas lights put up in Monongah. Monongah’s Council liked the idea. Susan them that Whitehall was getting new lights this year and might give Monongah a good price on their old ones.

Town Recorder Patty Steele McCombs said Mayor Greg Vandetta checked with Whitehall officials and they said they would donate the lights to Monongah.

Said Susan: “I’m so happy about this.”

I'm sure her face lit up, just like the town will for Christmas.
