Fundraiser for Christmas lights in Monongah

If Monongah townfolk want the town lit up for Christmas, then they will have to contribute to a fundraiser because the town can’t come up with the money.

That’s the word from Monongah High grad Susan Sanders, who is leading the efforts.

The Town of Whitehall donated seven lights to Monongah.

Susan has checked out the costs of hanging the lights. He plans to set up an account at the bank and donations can be made at the town water office.

Businesses can purchase a light and have a banner with their names on it.

You may contact Susan on her Facebook page. And congratulate her on her birthday, too.
