Phillis Tarley, 1982 North Marion graduate, celebrated hitting
the Big Five-0 on September 7.
Wrote Phillis:
“What a great night it was!!!! Thanks to my daughter
Johnna for throwing me a "50" surprise birthday party you did an
awesome job! I was totally shocked and had no idea. Thanks to all who came out
to celebrate with me I greatly appreciate it. Turning 50 is fabulous and just
like wine, you get better with age........I love you all!!!”

Company 14 firefighter Dewey Tarley, passed away April 1.
Phillis is assistant campus director
of admissions at Ross Medical Education Center in Morgantown. She lives in
Kingmont but grew up in Idamay with Dewey and Phillip Tarley as the children of
Phillip Tarley of Fairmont and the late Betha Irene Wilmoth Tarley.
Dewey and former wife Monica Tennant of Fairmont have two children,
Spencer Tarley and Hannah Tarley, both of Fairmont.
