Mary Bienkoski Domico, Class of 1950, of Monongah, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, her granddaughter, Lucinda Moore of Augusta, West Virginia reports sadly.

Mary was the widow of Louie Scoogum Domico and a daughter of Matthew and Stella Bienkoski. Scoogum passed away in 2004.

Their children are Louis Domico, Jr., who passed away in 1964, Cindy Domico Chism of Monongah, Gary Domico of Monongah, John and Susan Domico of Morgantown and Tim and Patty Domico of Monongah.

Mary’s sisters are Irene Bienkoski Plachta of Farmington, who passed away in 2013, Loretta Bienkoski Domico of Monongah, Pauline Bienkoski Cosco of Florida and Wanda Bienkoski Allowatt of Parkersburg. 

Deceased siblings are Edward Bienkoski, Lucy Bienkoski Goldsberry, Ann Bienkoski Plachta and Irene Bienkoski Plachta.

Mary was a close friend during her Monongah High days and later in life with the late Nancy Robinson Saunders, also Class of 1950 and John Olesky’s Monongah High senior prom date from Hutchinson.

The funeral probably will be Saturday in Monongah’s Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Friday viewing hours at the Domico Funeral Home in Fairmont.
