Delores Bednarz recovering with new hip

Delores Bednarz, Class of 1956, is recovering from her hip replacement.

She lives in Jackson Street in the home where she came from her Washington, D.C. retirement to take care of her mother, who passed away in 2011 at the age of 96.

Delores tries to walk at least two miles a day as part of her rehab.

Delores, Annette Bednarz Lambert of Clinton, Washington and Richard Bednarz of Beavercreek, Ohio, a Dayton suburb, are the children of Lena and Joseph Bednarz, who died in 1994.
