Can someone put a bell on this Kitty?
We really need to take up a
collection to put a GPS ankle bracelet on Mary “Kitty” Ahouse Morrison, Class
of 1968, who lives on Lyndon Avenue in Monongah when she isn’t gadding about
the country.
Today
she jumped off I-70 at the Route 41/Dallas Pike exit to have lunch with Fairmont
West and Fairmont State grad Kathy Satterfield, who works for AT&T and
lives in Fairmont, at the Ruttenbucks
Bar and Grill at 141 West Alexandria Road in Valley Grove, West Virginia. That’s
near Wheeling and Ogelbay Park Resort and the Comfort Inn and Suites in
Triadelphia.
And then it was off to Cabela’s in Wheeling (outdoor stuff
for someone?) and Cherokee Gift Shop and Boot Outlet in Triadelphia (anyone
else see a pattern here?).
Even a string of tests at Fairmont General Hospital in
early July and a visit to Med Express in February because her arthritis kicked
up hasn’t slowed our Miss Kitty.
Kitty
has partied it up with a limousine loaded with ladies of similar bent on their
way to New York City, lived it up in Key West, soaked up sun and fun in Myrtle
Beach, South Carolina, and run a half-marathon in Chicago.
Kitty and brother Mike Ahouse were supposed to be in Sedona, Arizona by now, but circumstances put off that trip. Don't worry; Kitty will find somewhere to traipse off to, and soon. Kitty's sister, Sue Ahouse Schrader and Larry are in Sedona, however, where they brought 5 inches of rain to the desert. Holy Moses!

Kitty is Monongah High Alumni’s Traveling Lady, whose sister,
Susan Ahouse Schrader, Class of 1971, lives in Piscataway, New Jersey and
Stoney Lonesome. Their brother is Mike Ahouse, a North Marion graduate and
Monongah mailman.
