Prudence Deane Tetrick Funk,
Class of 1960, will be in Florida Hospital in Orlando on Tuesday, July 26 to,
as she put it, “getting my heart worked on.”
Prudy,
Class of 1960, was at the 2010 Monongah High Alumni Reunion, the 50th
for her class, when she lived in Denver, Pennsylvania with husband Jim Funk.
Now Prudy and husband Jim Funk live in Longwood, 15 miles north of Orlando.
Even
though they bought Prudy’s grandparents’ house in Worthington, “living in West
Virginia just wasn’t in the cards for us.” Prudy's mother, Ruth Paxton Tetrick, is Class of 1939.
Prudy
and Jim celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary in April. Stacy
Funk Jackson is their daughter.
