Gary Haught, Class of 1971, has been hospitalized again. This time he’s in the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration Hospital in Clarksburg.

Gary’s a fighter . . . literally, because he’s done some boxing in his time.

His mother Nellie Haught, who turned 81 in April, lives with Gary on Traction Avenue in Monongah. Gary's father is Jennings Haught.

Nellie spent time in Fairmont Regional Medical Center in 2015, the same year that Gary had surgery after his health problems caused him to lose 11 pounds almost overnight.

Gary is the guy behind Gary’s Pro Painting.

I didn’t find a relationship to Gary in my research (if you know of one, email me at jo4wvu@neo.rr.com with the details and I’ll add them to this article), but Sabrina Haught, Class of 1954, was at the 2014 Monongah High Alumni Reunion and lives in Worthington, as she did during her MHS days.

She’s deeply involved with Marion County Homeland Security and Emergency Manangement.
