You can’t spell ‘party’ without a Ramona

Ramona Fullen Michalski, Class of 1949, Monongah’s hostest with the mostest, will be at it again this weekend.

Tom Dean, Class of 1949, a long-time friend who once played football with Frank Michalski, Ramona’s late husband, is coming into town from lives in Altavista, Virginia. That  gives Ramona an excuse to throw another poolside party on Bridge Street Extension.

Tom seems to alternate between visiting Ramona, or Monie as he calls her, and his children in North Carolina, particularly after Tom’s wife passed away.

Mary Maurovic Conners, Class of 1949, may join Monie and Tom poolside.

Others may or may not make it because of health problems. JoAnn McDaniel Huff, who lives in Worthington, is dealing with a broken shoulder.

Jean Nagel Viglianco, Class of 1949, who lives in Fairmont, can’t drive because of eyesight difficulties.
