Happy 10th wedding anniversary to Joe Martin, Class
of 1959, and Arlene Kitchin Martin, a Nova Scotia, Canada native. They live on
Treasure Island, Florida, near St. Petersburg.
The matron of
honor was Leslie Coleman and the best man was Craig Martin. Trish Miller performed
the wedding.
Joe and Arlene regularly show up at
the gathering of Monongah High alumni in Sarasota at the home of Bill Meredith,
Class of 1957, and wife Roleta, a Clarksburg Washington Irving graduate and WI
get-togethers organizer.
Joe, a professional photographer, had strokes and lung surgery in 2014. He had chemoteraphy for lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph system caused by the body’s cells behaving abnormally.
