Nancy Basnett’s daughter released

Kerri Basnett, daughter of Nancy Riley Basnett, Class of 1960, was released from WVU’s Ruby Memorial Hospital after her stay there following a heart attack.

“I want to thank everyone for prayers, support and kindness after my heart attack.”

Kerri had stents installed.

Kerri, an RN private duty nurse, is from Shinnston but lives in Fairmont. Nancy, who worked at Westinghouse, went to Monongah High but lives in Shinnston.

Since her release, Kerri has had four heart catherizations in little more than week in October.
