Frey hasn’t had a funeral since Sept. 8, when Kayla Dawn Willard passed away. Frey had two funerals in all of September.

Domico Funeral Home, founded by the late Nick Domico, Jr., had 16.

Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home had 14, Ford had 9, Masters had 5, Hutson had 4 and Ross had 2.

Frey opened in 1959. The building was constructed more than 100 years ago by the Jolliff family, who were the grandparents of late Funeral Directors William M. Frey and  Robert B. Frey Sr., and great-grandparents of Funeral Director Robert B. Frey Jr. The structure began as a home and was transformed into a funeral business in 1959.
