Plethora of Lions in reunions

Well, I certainly had a reunion with a lot of Monongah High alumni on my way to The Villages in Florida.

Foremost, of course, was getting together with my sister, Jackie Olesky Straight, Class of 1955, for the Virginia Tech-WVU basketball game that the Mountaineers won by 32 points. That was fun!

That evening came the MHS reunion in the Three Ways Inn in Fairmont with TWENTY ONE attending.

It was great to see Rose Commodore Cain, Class of 1950; Leatrice Yokay Greaser, Class of 1950; Arlene Martney Edgell, Class of 1951, and husband Okey Edgell, Class of 1944; Ramona Fullen Michalski, Class of 1949; her daughters, Marcia Michalski Westfall and another Ramona; June Paxton Rogers; Donald Halpenny, Class of 1950; Linda Tomlinson Stevenski & her husband; Tony Orsini & wife Mary Louise Baker Orsini; Jackie Olesky Straight, Class of 1955, & her 3 daughters and two sons-in-law; and John Olesky (me), Class of 1950.

It’s still cumbersome with my new laptop, being in Florida and some of my records in Ohio, so please excuse the decline in quality. At least I can get photo and information onto the blog.
