Tony Tarley’s obituary

The obituary for Anthony Tarley, 80, who has a daughter, a brother and a sister living in Monongah, appeared in the Fairmont Times.

Tony’s children are Kathy Tarley Parker and husband Chris of Monongah, Mark Anthony Tarley and wife Siobhan of Morgantown and Michael Tarley and wife Buffy of Fairmont.

Tony’s siblings are Carlo Tarley and wife Cathy of Monongah; Anna Lee Tarley Delovich of Monongah; Phillip Tarley of Fairmont; Eva Tarley Robinson of Charleston; John Tarley; and Lt. Col. Martha Tarley Buchholtz and husband Bill of Texas.
Calling honors at Domico Funeral Home in Fairmont for Tony, who grew up in Four States, will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 16 and noon Thursday, November 17, until the 1 p.m. funeral service.

Anthony "Tony" Tarley
(March 1, 1936 - November 12, 2016)

Anthony “Tony” Tarley, 80, of Monongah passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at his residence.  Tony was born March 01, 1936 in Century, WV, son of the late Anton and Suzanna (Sharro) Tarley.

 Tony was a member of the U.S. Air force.  He was the owner of Davis Electric Company and Dynamo Sale Corporation, and a former employee of the WV Armature.  Tony was a member of the Disability Action Center, the North Marion Wood Cutters, the Monongah Youth Club, and MEMMA.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, telling stories, and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.  Tony enjoyed his time spent at his camps in the WV Mountains.

 Tony is survived by three children, Mark Anthony Tarley and wife Siobhan of Morgantown, Kathy Parker and husband Chris of Monongah, and Michael Tarley and wife Buffy of Fairmont; three brothers, Phillip Tarley of Fairmont, Carlo Tarley and wife Cathy of Monongah, and John Tarley; three sisters, Anna Lee Delovich of Monongah, Eva Robinson of Charleston, and Lt. Col. Martha Buchholtz and husband Bill of Texas; eight grandchildren, Andrew Tarley, Blaithe Tarley, Cavan Tarley, Maille Tarley, Marches Parker, Alexis Hayes, Nicholas Tarley, and Michael Tarley; three great grandchildren, Shawn and Colton Rush and Raelyn Hayes; two brothers – in – law, Richard Barker of Fairmont and Billy Barker and wife Betty of Fairmont; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella (Barker) Tarley; and three brothers, Joseph, Marco and Dewey Tarley.

 The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. Fairmont, on Tuesday 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday noon until 1:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Mitchell officiating.  Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont, WV.  Full military rites will be conducted by the Marion County Honor Guard.
