Firing Fazio food next door to Firehouse Cafe

Chanceys Grill, out of business for months after a dispute with the landlord over frozen pipes that damaged the kitchen equipment, will be moving to 323 Adams Street, next door to the Firehouse Café, 323½ Adams Street, owned and operated by Fairmont firefighter Mark Delbrook.

Vince Fazio, a 2009 North Marion High grad,  previously operated Chancey’s at 1602 Locust Avenue. He says he hopes to open again by the end of September.

Vince’s parents are Steve Fazio and Nancy Fazio, who passed away in 2005.

Vince Fazio
Steve’s parents and Vince’s grandparents are Renzy Fazio and Frances Olesky Fazio, who owned and operated Fazio Grocery on Jackson Street for decades.

Frances was the sibling of John W. Olesky, Sr., father of John Olesky, Jr., Class of 1950, and Helen Olesky Kerekes.

Which makes Vince my first cousin, once removed.

Vince plans to whip up such things as:

Appetizers wings, quesadillas, potato patch, buffalo-BBQ cheese fries, stuffed peppers

For lunch, Cuban, steak/chx wrap/ hoagie, crabcake sandwich, bleu walnut salad, grilled veggie salad.

For dinner, Ahi tuna, shrimp scampi, chicken alfredo, crabcake dinner, ribeye and sirloin Filet.

What caught my attention was the ribeye. My father got me hooked on ribeye at Say-Boys when I was a WVU student and it’s been my favorite steak every since. It’s the only steak I grill outside our condo.
I like plenty of marbling (fat) and no stringy.
I plan to give Vince a shot at making Chanceys my favorite ribeye place.
Vince is in a relationship with Lexi Nicoletti..Special items: Filet Mignon, Crab Stuffed Orange Roughy, Catfish, Scallops, 16oz Porterhouse, Ribs, Mahi Mahi, Swordfish.

The food listed above will stay on the menu. The bottom sellers will be replaced for some new fFirehouse Café is the favorite place for the Jenna Won’t Sing Band, headed by Greg Patrick, to perform. Other than the annual Monongahfest, of course.
